HSLDA set on protection for homeschooling family

(OneNewsNow) The Home School Legal Defense Association is appealing to the U.S. Supreme Court on behalf of a homeschooling family from Germany that has been denied asylum in the U.S. by the Department of Justice.

The Romeikes fled to America to escape government persecution over homeschooling. Initially granted asylum, the Obama administration appealed that ruling and won the case. Because the Sixth Circuit has upheld the decision, HSLDA chairman Michael Farris says the case is going to the Supreme Court.
